Gravity Recoverable Gold GRG, Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Projects
Knelson Research and Technology Centre (KRTC) focuses on the customer's needs by providing objective results that enable confident, mineral processing and metallurgical project decisions.
Founded in 1998, KRTC has established pilot gravity evaluation facilities for sample testing throughout the world. These facilities are known as G-TEC's (Gravity Technology Evaluation Centre) which also utilize Knelson's patented centrifugal concentratortechnology.
Several G-TEC's have been strategically placed with Knelson representatives in major mining markets worldwide. G-Tec laboratories are strategically located in N. America, S. America, South Africa, Australia and Russia/CIS
The objective of the Knelson G-TEC's is to provide prospective customers with access to Knelson's leading-edge technology, along with locally based expertise to assist with the evaluation process. To view the Sample Testing available at Knelson, please click Services.
Over 5,000 client samples have been tested and evaluated at Knelson G-TEC's worldwide.
"With the high grades that we have been treating, the processing plant can receive spikes (12 hour feed composites) in excess of 10 opt. This requires us to have an efficient, reliable, and trouble-free gravity circuit. Knelson Concentrators have provided our plant with this."
